Only heavy-metal-free inks are being used and the emission of formaldehyde of our foils has been reduced to an absolute minimum through the use of formaldehyde-free base-papers and lacquersystems.

We dispose of one of the most modern wastewater treatment installations as well as a thermal regenerative incinerator to eliminate the remaining toxic substances.

Chiyoda emphasizes its ecological policy and commits itself to meet the strongest legal norms which has lead to the ISO 14001 certification (since April 2001).
